Goonies fans and Martha Plimpton can rest easy now that Raising Hope has officially been picked up for a full season on Fox.

Nine additional episodes of Raising Hope have been ordered , giving it a total of 22 episodes. The show has ranked as the  No. 1 new comedy among teens and young women and the No. 2 new comedy among adults 18-34.  It has not hurt having the Glee as the lead in show for them, it looks like fans have decided to stick around to watch.  Raising Hope marks the first freshman show to receive a full-season pickup.

Aside from Plimpton, the show stars Kelly Heyer, Lucas Neff, Garret Dillahunt and Cloris Leachman.

The shows synopsis according to IMDb is as follows:

Jimmy becomes a 25-year-old single parent to an infant whose mother he had a one-night stand with after she ends up on death row.

My wife loves this show, I have only watched it twice and was mildly amused.  It seems like they are trying to copy off of the success of The Middle to me.  The shows standouts are Martha Plimpton and Cloris Leachman to me.
