Graphic Novel WILSON To Be Adapted By Fox Searchlight
Dan Clowes, creator of the graphic novel Wilson, has just signed a deal with Fox Searchlight to adapt the book for the big screen. The film would serve as a directing vehicle for Alexander Payne. Josh Donen and Payne's Ad Hominem will produce the project for Sam Raimi's Stars Road.
According to BoingBoing, Wilson follows a
"lonely, unemployed, self-loathing, passive-aggressive sad-sack who goes through life making himself and the people around him miserable."
This is not the first graphic novel from Clowes to make it to the screen. Terry Zwigoff directed both Ghost World, and the 2006 film Art School Confidential. Pantheon will be publishing Clowes' next graphic novel called Mr. Wonderful.

Casting is yet to begin but I think that Paul Giamatti or Richard Jenkins would be perfect for the role. What are your thoughts?
