MGM Wants to Release BOND 23 in November 2012

Even after filing for bankruptcy, MGM still plans on developing new several new James Bond film projects.  They are looking to release a James Bond film every two years starting with Bond 23 in November 2012. This is all part of MGM's reorganization plan with Spyglass Entertainment. 

Here is the report from The Financial Times:

New James Bond films may be released every second year starting in November 2012, MGM said. It aims to own 50 percent of Bond 23, due out that year, with an equal partner paying all of the production costs, it said. Later Bond movies would be wholly owned and funded by MGM, the company said.

So all you James Bond fans can sit back and relax.  From the sound of it, you're going to get your Bond on every two years. 

There is still no word on if Sam Mendes will direct Bond 23 or if Daniel Craig will still play Bond. They've both said in the past that they still wanted to participate, regardless of MGM's financial situation. It seemed like they were willing to wait for everything to get settled.
