Noah Baumbach Developing WHILE WE'RE YOUNG Starring Ben Stiller And James Franco

It looks like Noah Baumbach will be re-teaming with his Greenberg star Ben Stiller soon.  

According to Vulture, the writer-director is currently planning his new project, While We’re Young. BothBen Stiller and James Franco are already attached to star.  Offers have also gone out to Greta Gerwig and Cate Blanchett. Scott Rudin, longtime Bambach producer is also along for this project.

The full script has been kept secret, but it is reportedly about a free-spirited Brooklynite twenty-something couple who inspires an uptight documentarian and his wife to loosen up, of course with some comedic consequences.

Hopefully both Gerwig and Blanchett will be able to arrange their schedules so they can also appear in this film. Jennifer Jason Leigh, Baumbach's soon to be ex-wife, was rumored to have been intended for the role offered to Blanchett.  

I love The Squid And The Whale and like most of Baumbach's work.  I was not a huge fan of Greenberg. The cast is shaping up to be pretty good.  What are your thoughts of this project?
