Nominations for the 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards

Hey gang! This morning the Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced the nominations for The 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards. The awards presentation will once again be hosted by Ricky Gervais, and will be broadcast live on Sunday, January 16th 2011 at 5pm PST on NBC.

The King's Speech took home the most nominations with a total of seven, David O. Russell's The Fighter and David Fincher's The Social Network each received six each.

Along with the awards categories listed below, Matt Damon will present Robert De Niro with the prestigious Cecil B. DeMille award for lifetime achievement in motion pictures.

Overall, I'm happy with the award nominations, they're pretty much what I expected them to be. The Golden Globe Awards will be handed out on Sunday, January 16, in a ceremony hosted by Ricky Gervais.
