Syfy Has Officially Cancelled STARGATE: UNIVERSE

First Caprica and now according to Deadline Hollywood, Syfy  has announced that Stargate: Universe has been officially cancelled. this really comes as no surprise to me because I never could get into the show.  The series will finish up its second season beginning in the spring.

 Syfy's slate of returning series includes Warehouse 13, Eureka and Haven, which will be joined next year by new series Being Human (the American version) and launches on January 17, the recently green lit series Alphas(we told y'all about that last week)and  the Battlestar Galactica prequel movie/backdoor pilot Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome which I'm really looking forward to.

Don't worry, I don't think this will be the last Stargate series we see. We do know that Stargate: Atlantis will have some movies coming soon like they did with SG:!.
