Seven Seasons Of TORCHWOOD Planned?

Doctor Who News Page posted a link to a Scottish Sun interview with John Barrowman that suggests there are long term plans for the upcoming BBC/Starz version of Torchwood.

I have turned down a load of other shows to make Torchwood. We'll be filming it in LA as it's now a collaboration between the BBC and the Starz Network in America. They're planning to make it for the next seven years. So I'll be spending six months a year in Hollywood and six back in the UK.

Seven years?  I guess I thought they'd see how the upcoming season performed and take it from there.  I have to say I'm curious to see how this turns out.
