Help Russell Crowe Get a MASTER AND COMMANDER Sequel Made!

Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World is one hell of a seriously awesome seafaring adventure film.  In fact, in my opinion, it's the best that's ever been made. I just bought the movie on Blu-ray, and it looks great! 

The film was based on a fantastic series of books by Patrick O’Brian. The sequels to the film have already been written, so they're just waiting for someone to do finally do something with them. The first film really didn't do too well at the box office when it was released in 2003, which was a shame because of how good of a movie it was. Even though there are a group of people who are very enthusiastic about getting a sequel made, nothing has been done with it.  Russell Crowe, who played Captain Jack Aubrey in the first movie, hasn't given up on the project and recently sent out a tweet calling for fans of the first film to rise up and make some noise about getting a sequel made.

If you want a Master and Commander sequel I suggest you e-mail Tom Rothman at Fox and let him know your thoughts.

I'm 100% in support of a Master and Commander sequel, and I hope to hell it gets made someday soon. The stories that are based on the adventures of Captain Jack Aubrey are incredible, and in my opinion much better than the adventures of Captain Jack Sparrow.
