Clash of the Titans 2 will be called WRATH OF THE TITANS

Ultimate badass Liam Neeson recently revealed in an interview that he will reprise his role as Zeus in the sequel to Clash of the Titans, and that the title of the film will be Wrath of the Titans. The actor is excited about the sequel. It's hard for me to be excited about it because I thought the Clash of the Titans remake was a big turd. Here's what Neeson had to say,

I've only read half of the script and there is still some work being done - they're on script 10 - but I think it's going to be some kick-ass stuff and a very human story to it,

Ten drafts!? I hope the script is coherent when the studio is done with it, because the first Titans script sucked-ass. Neeson went on to say that the next chapter in the story is "a whole revamping" and he's not sure whether or not it will be shot in 3D this time around. Who knows, maybe they'll follow the new trend and shoot it with the new EPIC RED cameras like The Hobbit and Spider-Man. I just hope they stay away from that 3D conversion crap.

The sequel is set to be directed by Jonathan Liebesman, and the film will start shooting next March with Sam WorthingtonGemma Arterton, and Ralph Fiennes reprising their roles. James Franco reportedly in talks to play Poseidon's son Agenor and Javier Bardem as Ares, god of war.

Wrath of the Titans has a tentative release date of Spring 2012. At this point I could care less about this sequel. What are your thoughts on it?
