Awesome New KICK-ASS Red-Band Trailer for your Viewing Pleasure
I don't think anyone would object to watching a great new red-band trailer for Matthew Vaunghn's Kick-Ass! As you know I've been pumping up this film since I first head it was getting made. I love what I've read in the comics and the movie looks like it's going to be just as freakin awesome. Vaughn and creator Mark Millar have put together something insanely special.
This movie was made for geeks, by geeks, and it's going to be one of the most politically incorrect, violently vulgar, hard-core action films you'll see this year. And this trailer does a great job getting that point across. This is the best trailer for the film I've seen so far because it gives you your best look at what you can expect... pure awesomeness.
Now, check out the trailer below and leave your thoughts in the rant back section below!
Official Plot Synopsis: The film tells the story of average teenager Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson), a comic-book fanboy who decides to take his obsession as inspiration to become a real-life superhero. As any good superhero would, he chooses a new name — Kick-Ass — assembles a suit and mask to wear, and gets to work fighting crime. There’s only one problem standing in his way: Kick-Ass has absolutely no superpowers. His life is forever changed as he inspires a subculture of copy cats, is hunted by assorted violent and unpleasant characters, and meets up with a pair of crazed vigilantes, including an 11-year-old sword-wielding dynamo, Hit Girl (Chloë Moretz) and her father, Big Daddy (Nicolas Cage).
