Movie The Crow by Joey Paur

There are a lot of people upset about the fact that Blade director Stephen Norrington is looking to reboot The Crow. Its been a few months since we've heard any news on the project, but Norriginton had a quick little update regarding the project.

According to Mania, even though Norrington recently attached himself to direct another film called The Lost Patrol, he is still very much on board to direct The Crow reboot film. So where does it stand as of right now?

The producer and visual effects people are crunching numbers. We've opened discussions with major cast but nothing is final yet.

The script is complete, and he will most likely shoot the film before he shoots The Lost Patrol. Probably this summer. He adds that,

Cast and budget and schedules will no doubt continue to adjust all equations.

The film will be based on James O' Barr's original 1980's comic book. Alex Proyas directed Brandon Lee in the 1994 film which has become a cult classic. It spawned two awful sequels, the reboot can't be worse than either of those.

What are your thoughts on The Crow reboot?
