Olivia Wilde Cast in COWBOYS & ALIENS
It looks like the the beautiful Olivia Wilde will join director Jon Favreau and actor Daniel Craig in the new comic book film adaptation of Cowboys & Aliens being developed for DreamWorks Studios.
Wilde will play a character named Ella who joins up with mysterious gunslinger played by Craig in an unlikely uprising against an alien invasion. Craig took over the role from Robert Downey Jr., who dropped out in January so he could shoot the sequel to Sherlock Holmes 2.
Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci are producing and wrote the script with Lost co-creator Damon Lindelof. Steven Spielberg, Ron Howard and Brian Grazer are also producing along with Scott Mitchell Rosenberg, who created the graphic novel.
Wilde can be seen every week on the FOX TV series House, and will also be in the upcoming Disney film Tron: Legacy which comes out December of this year. It seems she's just starting her movie career but it seems like it's taking off pretty fast, the movies she is being cast in are really big type fanboy and fangirl films.
