The 82nd Academy Award Nominations are Here!

Hey Gang! The 82nd Academy Award nominations are in and I think many of you are going to be happy with the what movies and who has been nominated for this year's awards. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences revealed the nominees this morning live from the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills.

I have to say, I'm very happy with this year's list of nominations, especially the 10 movies that are up for Best Picture of the Year, all of them are well deserved films. I'm actually very surprised and pleased to see the Coen Brothers' A Serious Man on that list. I was also surprised that The Blind Side and District 9 got noms. Everything else was expected and pretty much mirrors the nominations for the Golden Globes. I am a little disappointed that 500 Days of Summer wasn't nominated for anything.  I predict that Avatar will take home the most Oscars this year.

The 82nd Academy Awards will take place on Sunday, March 7th at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood with a live telecast airing on ABC starting at 8PM (EST) / 5PM (PST). Check out the full list of 2010 nominees below, and tell us what you think!
