Terrence Malick luring Bale, Bardem, McAdams and Kurylenko for Untitled Romantic Drama

The normally reclusive and methodical practices of writer-director Terrance Malick (New World, Thin Red Line, Badlands) --  that usually have him taking spending years or decades developing films -- may be a thing of the past. Malick is currently in post-production on the Tree of Life, his forthcoming family drama that stars Brad Pitt and Sean Penn. The director also has the IMAX natural history documentary Voyage of Time in the works.

Now DealineHollywood reports that Malick has tapped an all star cast for an untitled love story he's written and will direct, that includes his New World star Christian Bale, as well as Javier Bardem (No Country For Old Men), Rachel McAdams, and Olga Kurylenko (Hit Man, Quantum of Solace).

Shooting begins this fall with Nicolas Gonda, Sarah Green and Bill Pohlad producing.

As far as any word on the story or plot goes... nothing has hit the net as of yet. We'll keep you updated as this develops, I'm sure this will hit the trades soon enough.

The Tree of Life will be released this year through Apparition.
