Rachel Weisz joins Daniel Craig & Naomi Watts in DREAM HOUSE

Morgan Creek has signed on Rachel Weisz (The Lovely Bones) to star alongside Daniel Craig (Casino Royale, Defiance) and Naomi Watts (The Ring, Eastern Promises) in their thriller Dream House, being helmed by 6 time Oscar Nominated director Jim Sheridan (In America, Brothers).

Written by David Loucka (Eddie), Dream House centers on a successful New York publishing exec (Craig) who quits his Gotham job and relocates his wife (Weisz) and two daughters to a quaint New England town, only to discover that their perfect new home was scene of a vicious murder of a mother and her two children. Watts will play a neighbor who was close to the slain family.

Sheridan has assembled a "dream" cast for Dream House. I'm sure the Brits and the Aussie will all be sporting American accents in the film, which every one of them can pull off pitch perfect. I absolutely loved Sheridan's last movie, Brothers, and I'm guessing Dream House will be more along the lines of a drama thriller and not a suspense horror with a twist ending.

Morgan Creek is fully financing the film, which began lensing this past Sunday in Toronto, and will be distributed through Universal Pictures. The film is being produced by James G. Robinson along with David Robinson, Daniel Bobker and Ehren Krueger.

What do you think of the cast for Jim Sheridan's DREAM HOUSE?
