Looks Like Nick Frost will indeed Star in Joe Cornish's ATTACK THE BLOCK

These Brits really have to become more aware that what they put out on the internet, is OUT ON THE INTERNET. Especially, ESPECIALLY, especially on Twitter!!! Twitter isn't a quick way to text your buddies, it's what CNN and other news outlets are using to break stories.

You may remember, back in January, Simon Pegg revealing and confirming news for Burke and Hare through his Twitter page, being the first to reveal that Andy Serkis had replaced David Tennant as his co-star (before the tweet was quickly yanked and then eventually confirmed).

Today, another quickly deleted Tweet has confirmed casting on a new project involving members of the Hot Fuzz and Shaun of The Dead family.

As you know, Joe Cornish, will be making his feature directorial debut with Attack The Block, a London-set alien invasion film he wrote sans frequent collaborator Edgar Wright, whom he co-wrote drafts of Ant-Man and The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn with, and who gave him bit roles in both Fuzz and Shaun.

Nick Frost, co-star of both Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead, has been rumored to be attached to play a key role in Attack The Block, since the project's inception.

The Playlist stumbled upon a tweet from British TV actor Adam Leese, who has been listed on the film's IMDB page as having a role in the film, that confirms Frost's involvement in the pic.

The tweet has since been deleted, but a Google cache of the tweet from February 21st reads:

Not exactly a call sheet with Frost's name on it, since the film is supposed to be shooting now, but enough evidence (and a lazy cover up) to have us pass this along.

What do you think of Nick Frost likely starring in Cornish's ATTACK THE BLOCK?
