THR reports that she has two other films she is set to star in before Jack & Diane. Temple has joined the ensemble cast of the Killer Films drama Dirty Girl, from writer-director Abe Sylvia. Temple will play the title character, a notorious high school slut who runs away with her closeted gay class partner to drive from Oklahoma to California to find the father she's never met. She joins the already set cast of Milla Jovovich, William H. Emma Stone (Zombieland, Superbad) is in very early negotiations to play one of the lead roles in Dreamworks Studios' bigscreen adaptation of Kathryn Stockett's best-selling tome The Help, which is being written and directed by Tate Taylor, a childhood friend of Stockett's.

The Help is set in early 1960's Jackson, Mississippi, and explores how the unspoken code of behavior governing Southern households is shattered when an aspiring writer interviews a maid, who speaks candidly about her experiences. The interview sets off shock waves that reverberate across the entire community.

Variety reports Stone is in talks for the role of Skeeter, the writer.
