I'm a huge fan of the art of Saul Bass. He created several different movie posters and opening movie title sequences throughout his career during the 1950's through the 1990's. I loved the creativity and simplicity he used in creating his classic (now) retro designs. He had a very unique style. He did a lot of work for Alfred Hitchcock.

Some of the films that he worked on include The Man with the Golden Arm (1955), Around the World in Eighty Days (1956), Vertigo (1958), Anatomy of a Murder (1958), North by Northwest (1959), Psycho (1960), Spartacus (1960), Ocean’s Eleven (1960), West Side Story (1961), It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World (1963), Big (1988), Goodfellas (1990), and Casino (1995).

A person that goes by the name of Hexagonall on Vemeo decided to recreate the opening title sequences to a couple of classic well known film and TV properties, such as LOST and Tron, in the style of Saul Bass. They did a fantastic job with it as well. Check them out below!
