The Sci-Fi Horror film SPLICE Gets a Release Date

Joel Silver's Dark Horse Entertainment and Warner Bros. has set a release date for Vincenzo Natali's Splice, which they picked up from the Sundance Film Festival this year.

This jacked up sci-fi horror greek-tragedy type movie is set to be released this summer on June 4th

I actually got the chance to see this film while up at Sundance this year and it seriously was a messed up film. In my review for it I wrote:

This film takes you down a very dark road, a road that leads to something that is completely insane and wrong in every way imaginable. There are events that take place in this movie that took me to places I didn’t want to go. It’s definitely different and original, but it definitely crosses the line and makes you cringe, and wonder who the hell thinks this stuff up!? Because, there are some sick minds at work here.

Unfortunately, the acting and dialogue were very weak. But I have a feeling some of you are looking forward to seeing this film, and I wish I could be there to see your faces when you do.
