HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON Extended Clip - Forbidden Friendship
Here's the first extended clip released for for How to Train Your Dragon, Dreamworks Animation’s newest CGI 3D adventure from Lilo & Stitch writer/directors Dean DeBlois and Chris Sanders.
Based on the book by Cressida Cowell, How to Train Your Dragon is a comedy adventure which is set in the mythical world of burly Vikings and wild dragons. The film enlists the voice talents of many comedic actors including Jay Baruchel (Knocked Up), Craig Ferguson (The Drew Carey Show/Late Late Show), Superbad’s Jonah Hill and Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Kristen Wiig (SNL/Extract), as well as America Ferrera (Ugly Betty) and Gerard Butler (300).
The clip runs 2:15 and features the main character Hiccup (Baruchel), as he first attempts to befriend a dragon, which entails surrendering his weapon, and eating a fish... well, a bite of half a regurgitated fish.
The clip is pretty enjoyable, the heavy breathing and awkward smile of the dragon reminds me of playing with a shy dog, if that analogy makes sense.
Check out the clip and let us know what you think!

Synopsis:
How To Train Your Dragon centers around a Viking teenager named Hiccup (Baruchel), who lives on the island of Berk, where fighting dragons is a way of life. The teen’s smarts and offbeat sense of humor don’t sit too well with his tribe or its chief… who just happens to be Hiccup’s father. However, when Hiccup is included in Dragon Training with the other Viking teens, he sees his chance to prove he has what it takes to be a fighter. But when he encounters (and ultimately befriends) an injured dragon, his world is flipped upside down, and what started out as Hiccup’s one shot to prove himself turns into an opportunity to set a new course for the future of the entire tribe.
