SAW 3D Full Synopsis and Confirmed Cast

This weekend we reported confirmation that Cary Elwes would return to the Saw franchise as Dr. Lawrence Gordon, which I think is pretty awesome news. The first Saw film is my favorite, but since then the franchise has slowly been loosing its flavor. But with Elwes coming back on board it should be interesting to see what his character is up to these days, and what part he will play in the story of Saw 3D.

Here is the confirmed cast so far: Tobin Bell, Cary Elwes, Costas Mandylor and Betsy Russell all return with the addition of Sean Patrick Flanery (Boondock Saints), Gina Holden (Aliens vs Predator: Requiem, Final Destination 3), Chad Donella (Lost, X-Files), Laurence Anthony, Dean Armstrong and Naomi Snieckus.

Now here is the official plot synopsis:
