CAPTAIN AMERICA to Start Shooting June 28th

Captain America is one step closer to actually taking shape. The cast is set, the story is written, and Marvel Studios has gone ahead opened a production office at Shepperton Studios in Surrey, England and Production Weekly reports that Captain America: The First Avenger will begin filming this summer on June 28th. 

Captain America is being directed by Joe Johnston, and the classic comic book adaptation will star Chris Evans, Hayley Atwell, Sebastian Stan, Hugo Weaving and Samuel L. Jackson.

The film will focus on Steve Rogers during WWII when he volunteers to participate in an experimental program that turns him into the super soldier known as Captain America. Marvel and Paramount will release the film on July 22, 2011. 

It's going to be excited to finally start seeing stuff from the actual film production. Here's hoping a great movie!
