Incredible Superhero Sculptures - Let the Comic Book Renaissance Begin

Now this is some pretty incredible artwork. An Italian sculptor by the name of Adrian Tranquilli who currently resides in Rome has created a series of comic book superhero sculptures that shows us shows us the vulnerable side or our favorite heros. 

He took the likes of Superman, Batman, Wolverine, and Spider-Man and focused less on the "heroes’ superpowers and psychic abilities, and more on their human fragility. As a result, Batman is positioned on his knees looking for answers while Superman is coming out of the wall injured and bloody."
