New Trailer for Joe Dante’s THE HOLE

TrailerMovie Joe Dante by Joey Paur

I grew up on the films of Joe Dante in the 80’s, he’s made some great movies that I still watch every once in awhile. He was the man that brought us Gremlins, The Howling, Explorers, Interspace, Twilight Zone: The Movie Segment, and The Burbs. The last movie he directed was Looney Toons: Back in Action. That seems like a hell of a long time ago.

Now he’s back to bring us a new family style horror film called The Hole, and from the trailer it looks like he’s made a fun movie, much like the films that he made back in the 80’s which is great because I loved those films! The Burbs is one of those films that holds a special place in my heart. I think it’s awesome he’s made a fun throwback PG-13 horror film.

Unfortunately, the film has yet to be pictured up by a distributor and no release date is set. I’m pretty shocked that a studio hasn’t snatched this film up yet. Not only does it look fun, but it was actually shot in 3D as well, not converted.

Check out the trailer below and let us know what ya think!
