Bruce Willis Joins Rian Johnson's Sci-Fi Film LOOPER

Rian Johnson just cast Bruce Willis in his incredible sounding sci-fi film Looper. The report over at Deadline also confirms that Joseph Gordon-Levitt will be in the film as well. The last we heard that was only a rumor, but now its being treated as a matter of fact. 

Johnson described Looper is a dark time travel movie that's set in a near future where time travel will be invented in a few decades. It involves a group of killers called Loopers who work for a crime syndicate in the future. Their bosses send their targets hogtied and blindfolded back in time to the Loopers, and their job is to simply shoot them in the head and dispose of the body. So the target vanishes from the future and the Loopers dispose of a corpse that doesn’t technically exist, a very clean system. Until the Complications arise.

Now here's the interesting part... Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are going to play the same character. Obviously at different ages in different time settings.

Johnson is a fantastic filmmaker, and I'm really looking forward to his Looper.I have a feeling he's going to give us something incredibly fun and original, it's what he's good at!
