Tom Welling Says SMALLVILLE Ends Next Season

I kind of figured Smallville might wrap up in season 10 and today Tom Welling has come out and confirmed it. He told hollywoodlife;

“Season 10 of Smallville will be the last season.”

It's kind of cool that this past season was supposed to be the last season so the CW moved the show to Friday nights where there are no ratings for the network and guess what happened, the show still had an audience, it took a few weeks for the fans to catch on to the shift but the CW noticed and asked for one more season.

As you can tell the story has started wrapping up with the final episode of this season showing Clark opening a present from his mom and without ruining it for anyone who didn't see it I'll just say we saw an "S" glare in Clark's eyes! Hopefully all of us will finally see Clark fly with that suit on!
