Trailer for the J.J. Abrams Produced Comedy MORNING GLORY

Harrison Ford plays a grumpy grunting old man in this new J.J. Abrams produced feel-good comedy, Morning Glory. Look, just because Abrams produced this movie doesn't mean it's going to end up being good. But, there's always a chance it might. This film has a great cast of actors that seem to have thrown themselves into a very mediocre looking film. The film stars Ford, Rachel McAdams, Diane Keaton, Patrick Wilson, and Jeff Goldblum. The story follows a hotshot television producer who is set the challenge of reviving a struggling morning show program, despite the constant feuding of its high-profile anchors.

This movie comes out in theaters on November 12th 2010. As much as I like the people involved with making this film, I'm not sold on it from this trailer. That being said, I'll probably end up seeing it anyway because it's a movie that my wife will enjoy. I've been pleasantly surprised before with movies like this so I guess we can hope for the best! Check out the trailer below and hit us up with your thoughts!

Synopsis

When hard–working TV producer Becky Fuller (McAdams) is fired from a local news program, her career begins to look as bleak as her hapless love life. Stumbling into a job at “Daybreak” (the last–place national morning news show), Becky decides to revitalize the show by bringing on legendary TV anchor Mike Pomeroy (Ford). Unfortunately, Pomeroy refuses to cover morning show staples like celebrity gossip, weather, fashion and crafts – let alone work with his new co–host, Colleen Peck (Keaton), a former beauty queen and longtime morning show personality who is more than happy covering morning “news.” As Mike and Colleen clash, first behind the scenes and then on the air, Becky’s blossoming love affair with fellow producer, Adam Bennett (Wilson) begins to unravel – and soon Becky is struggling to save her relationship, her reputation, her job and ultimately, the show itself.
