VAMPIRE DIARIES Star Nina Dobrev Will Play DEATHGAMES

According to Heat Vision The CW's Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev has snagged her first major film role in Deathgames. After the success of Vampire Diaries we have a new crop of fresh faces that'll be making their move to the big screen and Dobrev is the first!  Deathgames will also star Samuel L. Jackson, James Remar, Kellan Lutz, Daniel Dae Kim and Derek Mears with Jonah Loop making his directorial debut.

Plot:

Deathgames centers on a young man (Lutz) who is kidnapped and forced into the savage world of a modern gladiator arena, where men fight to the death for entertainment of the online masses in games orchestrated by Jackson. Dobrev plays Lutz's wife. Remar plays a mysterious character called 'The Tallman' and Mears will play  "Brutus"Jackson.
