Sigourney Weaver to Star in Buried director's new film RED LIGHT

Movie Sigourney Weaver by Joey Paur

I absolutely loved the film Buried, it was an awesomely intense movie, and ever since I saw it I've anxiously been waiting to hear what the director Rodrigo Cortes' next film project would be.

Now we know that his next feature film will be called Red Lights, and it will star Sigourney Weaver. She will play Margaret Matheson in the film, a para-psychologist who attempts to debunk a very reputable psychic who has just returned to the limelight after 30 years. Cortes described the film as "about how the brain does not give a true picture of reality."

Weaver was just seen in Avatar, but of course she is better known for her roles in the Alien films and Ghostbusters. As for Cortes, he is an amazing director that has been heavily inspired by Alfred Hitchcock, and he does a fantastic job bring that intensity and style to his films. He proved it with Buried.

I'll be looking forward to this movie, there's not a doubt in my mind that it is going to be a sold film.
