New Director for KANE AND LYNCH
I have been enjoying all that I have been hearing about the making of this film. I think it might actually be a good conversion from video game to movie. The casting of Bruce Willis and Jamie Foxx was brilliant. But like any movie there are always problems.
It turns out that lationreviewhas a trusted source in Millennium that says that the original director, former stunt man, Simon Crane has left the directors chair.
With the job open, the studio first looked at F. Gary Gary(The Italian Job, Law Abiding Citizen). He declined, so the search is on. Next in line appears to be Wayne Kramer (Running Scared).
Nothing is confirmed yet, so this is still considered a rumor. The word on the street, however, is that it will be made official later this week.
WK seems like he will do this film justice. His other action flicks don't hold back, they come at you full force. That is what I think this movie needs. If he stays true to his style and uses his talent to the fullest, we might have a pretty decent movie on our hands. I think this might just work out. Until next time, let us know what you think.
