None of the Ghostbusters are on the Same Page About GHOSTBUSTERS 3
There's been a hell of a lot of confusion recently around what is actually going on with Ghostbusters 3. Thing's seemed to be moving forward just fine with the film until Bill Murray came out and said that another sequel was "just a myth," and that "all this talk is just talk." Like nothing was going to happen with it, which was pretty discouraging to hear. The thing is, both Harold Ramis and Dan Aykroyd have very different views than Bill Murray. They recently did separate interviews in which they both state that Ghostbusters 3 is happening, but no one is on the same damn page!
Ramis recently told ABC 7,
Well, there’s been a lot of talk about a third Ghostbusters film, which has now become real. It’s… I can say with some certainty that there will be a third movie. It won’t be out until Christmas 2012, but the work is going on now.
Then Aykroyd talked to GBFans and they report the following.
Dan confided in Ghostbusters Fans about the future of Ghostbusters 3. He told our members that Ghostbusters 3 should start filming this Fall, presumably for a 2011 release.
So what have we learned about Ghostbusters 3 today boys and girls? That the Ghostbusters aren't really talking to each other these days. They all have their own ideas about what is going on with the film. I seriously doubt the film will be made in 2011, if it does get made, 2012 is the more likely date. Hopefully one day all the Ghostbusters will actually be on the same page with each other and make the movie already instead of throwing out pointless information with nothing to back it up.
What do you all think about this Ghostbusters 3 confusion?
