Must Watch Trailer for THE KILLER INSIDE ME with Casey Affleck
Icon Pictures has released the official trailer for a new little film called The Killer Inside Me, and it looks like an excellent film. This movie was shown up at the Sundance Film Festival this year but unfortunately we didn't get to see it. I heard it was a pretty amazing little film though with a touch of controversy due to it's portrayal of brutal violence against women.
The film was directed by Michaal Winterbottom and has a very strong cast of actors that includes Casey Affleck, Jessica Alba, Kate Hudson, Bill Pullman, Ned Beatty, Simon Baker, and Elias Koteas.
Casey Affleck is an incredible actor, and I hear he does an amazing job in this movie. Here is the plot synopsis:
THE KILLER INSIDE ME tells the story of handsome, charming, unassuming small town sheriff’s deputy named Lou Ford (Casey Affleck). The film takes place in an idyllic West Texas town in the early 1950’s. As a lifelong resident, Ford has difficulty juggling his long-term girlfriend Amy (Kate Hudson), the prostitute named Joyce (Jessica Alba) that he mistakenly falls for, and the sociopathic tendencies inside him. In Thompson’s savage, bleak, blacker than noir universe nothing is ever what it seems.
The movie opens up in theaters in the UK on June 4th and the US on June 18th. Check out the trailer below and let us know what ya think!
