THE LAST AIRBENDER International Movie Poster

PosterMovie by Joey Paur

Here's the international movie poster M. Night Shyamalan's The Last Airbender. Do you think Shyamalan has what it takes to adapt this popular animated series into a full length feature film? I love what I've seen so far, and I'm surprisingly excited to see this movie. I was definitely hesitant in the beginning, but the film's grown on me. The last trailer completely sold me on it, but as we all know trailers can be deceiving. The real test is the story and script. There's no doubt the movie will look great, and that it will be a fun adventure to watch up on the big screen, but will the writing be good? Or will we be rolling our eyes at bad dialogue? I guess we'll find out, in the mean time check out the new poster below and let us know what ya think!

Synopsis:

Air, Water, Earth, Fire.  Four nations tied by destiny when the Fire Nation launches a brutal war against the others. A century has passed with no hope in sight to change the path of this destruction. Caught between combat and courage, Aang (Noah Ringer) discovers he is the lone Avatar with the power to manipulate all four elements. Aang teams with Katara (Nicola Peltz), a Waterbender, and her brother, Sokka (Jackson Rathbone), to restore balance to their war-torn world.

Based on the hugely successful Nickelodeon animated TV series, the live-action feature film “The Last Airbender” is the opening chapter in Aang’s struggle to survive.
