F. Gary Gray could end up Directing KANE & LYNCH Movie

It looks like F. Gary Gray is in early talks to direct Nu Image/Millennium Films' Kane & Lynch, big screen adaptation of the popular Eidos video game. Stunt coordinator and second unit director Simon Crane was originally directing the film, but dropped out in last month due to created differences. No official offer has been made yet. 

Both Bruce Willis and Jamie Foxx are attached to star in the film. The story follows Adam "Kane" Marcus (Willis), a mercenary who makes an unlikely alliance with a schizophrenic killer named James Lynch (Foxx). The duo is forced on a mission to retrieve a stolen microchip.

The script for the film was written by Kyle Ward, who is penning Hitman 2, which is another Eidos video game adaptation. 

Gray may not be a household director name, but you know his films. Some of these films include Law Abiding Citizen, A Man Apart, The Italian Job, Be Cool and The Negotiator. I think Gray could do a great job developing this film, he's made some solid fun films, and it seems like his directing style would fit perfectly in the world of Kane & Lynch.
