Warner Bros. Hires Writers for GREEN LANTERN 2 and THE FLASH

Warner Bros. isn't wasting anytime to get things started on the sequel to Green Lantern, which doesn't even come out for another year as well as finally getting started on The Flash comic book film adaptation.

The studio has hired Greg Berlanti, Michael Green and Marc Guggenheim to write the scripts for both Green Lantern 2 and The Flash, which isn't too surprising, after all they all worked on writing the first Green Lantern film which is currently in production.

Finally Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment are putting thoughts into actions. We've got Green Lantern coming next year. Tthen there's Christopher Nolan, Jonathan Nolan, and David Goyer who are working on Batman 3, and the new Superman reboot. Now they are moving forward on developing Green Lantern 2, and The Flash

I wonder if they will follow Marvel's lead and start to do movie character crossovers. After all, Barry Allen and Hal Jordan are friends in the comics. I assume they are waiting to see how The Green Lantern does once it's released before they decide how they want to tackle crossovers. This is just the beginning, and it will be cool to see what other DC properties they will put into production next, and how they proceed with developing them.

What do you all think?
