E3 First Impressions: Sonic 4 and Sonic Colors

I'm coming to you live from the floor of the E3 Expo in Los Angeles, and this place is INSANE. This is the first of many posts from the expo, so keep checking back throughout the day for updates.

One of the first stops I made was at the area SEGA set up in the South Hall. This first video is from Sonic 4: Episode One, which - if you've ever played a Sonic the Hedgehog game - should look pretty familiar. It's the classic style and looks like a solid throwback to days where the SEGA Genesis was the hottest console on the planet. Check out the footage below.

Next, I had a chance to see some gameplay from Sonic Colors, a brand new game that hearkens back to the badass Sonic game from SEGA's now-defunct Dreamcast system. I owned a Dreamcast and that Sonic game was one of my favorites; this one looks like a continuation of that 3D feeling instead of the classic sidescrolling. Take a look and let us know what you think in the comments.
