James Cameron Will Solve This Big Oil Leak... in 3D

Rant James Cameron by Joey Paur

Don't you worry Gulf of Mexico! The oil leak is on the verge of being solved! Why? Because James Cameron is on the case! What!? I love that these top engineers and scientists are now bringing in imaginative filmmakers to throw out ideas on how to stop this massive oil leak. They must be really hurting for ideas on how to stop this thing.

Federal officials are hoping film director James Cameron can help them come up with ideas on how to stop the disastrous oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

The "Avatar" and "Titanic" director was among a group of scientists and other experts who met Tuesday with officials from the Environmental Protection Agency and other federal agencies for a brainstorming session on stopping the massive oil leak.

The Canadian-born Cameron is considered an expert on underwater filming and remote vehicle technologies. "Avatar" and "Titanic" are the two highest-grossing films of all time.

Cameron must feel even more important now! I'd love to see what kind of ideas Cameron came up with in this meeting. Or did he just sit there thinking... "you guys are totally screwed." I even read earlier that Michael Bay was consulted as well. His solution? "Let's blow it up in slow motion, that should do the trick!" You know it's bad when they turn to Hollywood for ideas, because right now Hollywood needs a lot of help itself with new and original ideas for the movies they make.

Seriously though... I hope they figure out something soon, this oil leak is insane, and getting out of control.
