Bryan Singer Auctions Off Set Visit for X-MEN: FIRST CLASS and Short Plot Synopsis is Revealed
Hey Gang! If you've got some money to spare you might want to think about getting in on this X-Men: First Class set visit charity auction. Producer Bryan Singer is auctioning off the opportunity to visit the UK set of X-Men: First Class.
The auction will benefit Project Angel Food, which provides meals for “men, women and children affected by HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other life-threatening illnesses.” you can find it posted on CharityBuzz. So you would be spending money on a good cause.
The auction details don't give any kind of official casting announcements, but we've heard over the last couple weeks that James McAvoy will play Professor X, Michael Fassbender would take on Magneto, Benjamin Walker is Beast, Amber Heard is rumored to play Mystique, and Rosamund Pike is rumored to play Emma Frost. The auction does however offer us a little Plot synopsis of what the film will be about.
Before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Before they were archenemies, they were closest of friends, working together, with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop the greatest threat the world has ever known. In the process, a rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-Men.
We've pretty much figured that's what it would be about, but this is the first time anything on the story has been officially released.
The auction began last week, and will end this coming Thursday. Current bid is $2500.00
