M. Night Shyamalan is Shopping Around his Next Film Project with Big Stars Attached

M. Night Shyamalan is just finishing up his next epic looking film The Last Airbender, and I'm actually looking forward to seeing it. The Last Airbender isn't the only project he's been developing though, turns out he's quietly been shopping around his next original film project.

I haven't been the biggest M. Night fan over the last few years, but it looks like he's made a solid Last Airbender film. This is the first film that he's made that's not one of his original ideas. I really hope he did a good job with it, I was rooting for this guy after he made The Sixth Sense, but he slowly just lost his flavor. I honestly didn't think there was any hope for him after The Happening.

There aren't any details about this new project yet, other than Bruce Willis, Bradley Copper and Gwyneth Paltrow are loosely attached to star in the film. As of right now only top studio executives are the only people that have had the pleasure or the pain of reading his script. The script is so secret that Shyamalan required that an assistant be there to supervise the process. When the executives finished reading, the assistant took the script back and left.

If he's trying to keep anything from leaking out, you can bet his next original film has a twist ending as well that he doesn't want anyone to know about. The question is will the studios be interested in it? Apparently Shyamalan still has the power to attract big talent, but big talent doesn't mean good film.

I'm really interested to see what he has up his sleeve for this secret film project. I hope he's coming up with something that will blow us away like he used to do.
