Wild Thing Comes out of Retirement for MAJOR LEAUGE 4

Movie by Joey Paur

It came as a surprise to everyone when Bob Uecker announced at a sports game that a new Major League movie was going to be made. Now we have a little update on the fourth Major League film to share with you from Moviehole who had the opportunity to talk to David S. Ward, the writer and director of the original 1989 Major League film.

He confirmed that a new Major League movie is being developed, and he hopes to reunite the original cast!

It's 20 years later, and Wild Thing comes out of retirement to work with this 19-year-old player", Ward says of the storyline. "We've actually got three new characters in the new film. And if the new film is popular, they could carry the franchise on.

As of right now Ward has only talked to Charlie Sheen about coming back to reprise his role as Wild Thing, and he said Sheen was really excited to do it. They hope to shoot the film next year while Two-and-a-half Men is on hiatus.

I loved the original Major League film, and I'm looking forward to Major League 4 getting made. If they bring back the original cast and characters, it could be pretty freakin' awesome movie!

What do you think? Are you on board with a Major League 4 film?
