BLINK-182 to Record New Album This Fall

MusicTV by Wejo

Very rarely does a band draw equal amounts of love and hate from the music listening audience than Blink-182. So, odds are there’ll be both sighs of frustration and elation when folks read the following news: Blink-182 plans to record a new album this fall.

“When the European tour is finished,” blogs Blink bassist Mark Hoppus, “we head back and play ONE SHOW in Southern California. Then that is IT for live shows for the rest of 2010. Why? Because we’ll be in the studio recording the new blink-182 album. Until it is finished.”

During the Blink’s extended hiatus, Hoppus made quite a name for himself as a blogger and podcast host. Despite the band’s reemergence, he’ll continue to do that as well as host A Different Spin with Mark Hoppus, a new music talk show that will begin airing on Fuse this September.
