Film Clip From THE LAST AIRBENDER - The Fire Nation is Here
Paramount Pictures has released a new film clip for M. Night Shyamalan's The Last Airbender. It's a fairly short clip that shows the fire nation approaching, ready for battle. It looks like a pretty good set up to an epic battle sequence. I'm looking forward to this movie, I hope it tuns out as good as it looks.
In the four nations of Air, Water, Earth, and Fire, the individual elements can be controlled by magical people known as "benders." When the Fire Lord launches a brutal war against the other nations, it leads to a century of destruction with no hope for the future in sight. Caught between combat and courage, the young warrior Aang discovers he is the lone Avatar with the power to manipulate all four elements. He teams with Katara, a Waterbender, and her brother, Sokka, to restore balance to their war-torn land.
The movie is based on the awesome Nickelodeon animated TV series, and is set to open up in theaters in 3D and 2D theaters on July 1st. The movie stars Noah Ringer, Nicola Peltz, Jackson Rathbone, Dev Patel, Jessica Jade Andres, Aasif Mandvi, Shaun Toub, Cliff Curtis and Keong Sim.
