Yep, according to the genealogists at Ancestry.com Twilight star Robert Pattinson is related to Vlad the Impaler, who inspired the undead evil character in Bram Stoker's Dracula.

Pattinson and Vlad III Dracula are relatives due to their relationship with the British royal family. Pattinson is distant cousin to Prince William and Prince Harry, while Vlad the Impaler was their distant uncle.

But that's not all! Stephenie Meyer, the author of the Twilight book series is also related to Vlad through the princes as well. So in a strange way Pattinson and Meyer are also related.

Next thing you know, we'll hear everyone to ever be involved with the Twilight franchise is also related to Vlad the Impaler.
