Is Jamie Bell the new SPIDER-MAN?

Reports are rolling in that Sony Pictures has chosen Jamie Bell to play Peter Parker in the Marc Webb directed Spider-Man 3Dreboot. It was reported earlier that Bell was up for the role of Spider-Man along with Alden Ehrenreich, Frank Dillane, Andrew Garfield, and Josh Hutcherson.

I guess Bell would make a good Peter Parker/Spider-Man. He's a talented young actor that I'm sure they'll be able to make look like a high school kid. If he really is cast in the film this will be his second big comic book film. He also recently starred in the Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson's film adaptation of Tintin.

The new Spider-Man film is inspired by the Ultimate Spider-Man Comic book from Brian Bendis. The film will focus on Peter Parker during his adolescent high school years.
