Julia Stiles Officially Joins the Cast of DEXTER

It recently leaked out that Julia Stiles was in talks to join the fifth season of Dexter, at the time we didn't know much about the character she would be playing. Today it's been confirmed that she is an official member of the cast, and we are given a little info on the character she will play.

Here's the official Press Release with the details, and a major spoiler if you haven't watched last season's Dexter yet:

Julia Stiles has joined the cast of SHOWTIME’s Emmy-nominated drama series DEXTER.  Stiles, who will appear in ten episodes in the upcoming fifth season, will play a mysterious young woman who forms a unique relationship with Dexter (Michael C. Hall) in the wake of the death of his wife.  Production on season five begins this month and will premiere in the fall on SHOWTIME.

So there ya have folks! This will be Styles first TV show, and I think she'll do an awesome job in it. I seriously can't wait to see what is in store for us when Dexter season 5 hits on Showtime!
