Ryan Reynolds Gets Hurt on the Set of GREEN LANTERN + Gets Cover of Entertainment weekly

According to US Magazine actor Ryan Reynolds was hurt pretty bad while filming The Green Lantern in New Orleans.

While shooting scenes for the DC Comics action flick, the 33-year-old actor separated his shoulder and according to a source "is in lots of pain. He's been keeping ice on it." Reynolds reps has no comment on the matter, and there's no word on if this will delay shooting.

Separating your shoulder is no laughing matter. I've dislocated both my shoulders and it hurts like bloody hell.

On a more positive note, according to CBM you have to wait until Comic-Con to get your first look at The Green Lantern. It sounds like you'll get to see Reynolds in the full CGI costume next week in the up-coming issue of Entertainment Weekly! So thats something to look forward to!

Green Lantern opens June 17, 2011 and stars Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Mark Strong, Peter Saarsgard, Tim Robbins, Temuera Morrison and Angela Bassett.
