Will Smith to take the lead role in THE LEGEND OF CAIN

Will Smith will produce and star in a new film called The Legend of Cain, and yes... it is supposed to be an epic re-telling of the old school biblical story, only this time it comes with a little drop of vampires.

So what? Cain kills Able and God curses him to walk the earth forever... as a vampire!? I don't if that's how the story will play out, but it makes sense.

The script is being written by Caleeb Pinkett and Dan Knauf, with Andrea Berloff revising, and there is no director or studio attached to the project yet, but with Will Smith on board I'm sure it won't be long before we see him all vamped out.

Smith is currently prepping up to star in Men in Black III.

Anyone interested in seeing Smith play the vampire version of Cain?
