Comic-Con 2010: D.J. Caruso's I AM NUMBER FOUR Video Report

Disturbia and Eagle Eye director D.J. Caruso has got another sci-fi actioner up next on his slate, and it's currently filming. While the cast and crew couldn't make the trip out to San Diego, they recorded a brief video update from the set.

The movie has a pretty interesting cast lined up, with highlights being Timothy Olyphant ("Justified"), Kevin Durand ("LOST"), and Dianna Agron ("Glee"). Alex Pettyfer (who?) is playing the lead role. I Am Number Four hits theaters on February 18th, 2011.

An adaptation of the upcoming young-adult sci-fi book by James Frey and Jobie Hughes.

The story is about a group of nine earthbound alien teens who escaped their planet just before it was destroyed by a hostile species. While the high school-aged kids assimilate, the title character (Pettyfer) discovers that he is being hunted by the enemy that blew up his planet..

Timothy Olyphant plays Henri, Number Four's guardian and mentor who comes to Earth with him. Kevin Durand will play The Commander that is coming after Pettyfer's character.

Teresa Palmer plays Number Six and Dianna Agron is Sarah, a girl dating the head jock who falls for Number Four. Callan McAuliffe is playing Number Four's best friend.
