Comic-Con 2010: Visionaries Panel: Abrams and Whedon

Yesterday at the Visionaries panel JJ Abrams and Joss Whedon basically did a candid interview about how they view Hollywood.
Not a lot of things were revealed during this session but I did pick up two very interesting facts and they both came from Abrams.
When they were asked if they liked or disliked 3D, Joss said he enjoyed it but JJ said he really didn't care for it.  He said that the effect was cool but his problem is that the glasses distract from the true beauty of the film.  I have to say, I agree.
The other interesting bit of info that I picked up was when JJ was asked about his upcoming project that he is doing with Steven Spielberg Super 8.  JJ said that there is nothing filmed for the movie yet.  Actual filming doesn't even start until September.
All in all the whole panel was fun.  These two genius', at least in my opinion, had a great relationship with one another.  As we find out any information about either one of these artists we will let you know.  Until next time, let us know what you think.
