Screen Test Photos of Josh Hutcherson as Peter Parker in Spider-Man Reboot

I think it was a surprise to everyone when Sony Pictures announced that Andrew Garfield was officially cast in the role of Peter Parker a.k.a. Spider-Man in Marc Webb's Spider-Man 3D reboot.

You may recall that shortly after this Spider-Man movie was first announced Josh Hutcherson was rumored as being the kid who would get the role, at one point a rumor hit that claimed he was locked for the role. Well, obviously he didn't get the part. But he did go through several screen tests for it, and now we have a few photos from those screen tests that show us what Hutcherson would have looked like as Peter Parker.

Checkout these pics below and tell us what you think. Would he have worked? I guess it doesn't matter at this point, but it gives us a glimpse into the behind the scenes casting process. In the end, I'm happy that Garfield snagged the role, and I think He'll do a great job.

It looks like Parker's going to have some acne problems this time around.
